Duo Concertante is an exciting young Scottish based ensemble. They offer beautiful music for flute and guitar, featuring diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces and passionate Latin American music to innovative modern works.

Sharon Dowsett and Adele Neilson formed the Duo in 2007 whilst studying music performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. They have performed in recitals and events around Scotland, as well as in masterclasses and competitions. The pair have also broadcast live on Celtic Radio.

The Duo is extremely versatile, and is perfect for a variety of venues from the concert platform to more intimate spaces. Besides performing exciting recitals, they can also provide elegant background music to entertain guests at weddings and functions where a diverse range of styles is always featured.
